AIDS Awareness



I expressed interest to my editor to do a story about the high percentage of African Americans with AIDS. With data from the Center for Disease Control and the county health department, the story ran on World Aids Day.

This is an event I look forward to attending every year. I was really excited about being able to write about it. Concentrating on writing and seeing the latest fashions from around the world was not an easy task!

Historic Macon Cemetary Site for Living Black History Tribute

Linwood Cemetery in Macon, Georgia holds history as many cemeteries do, but time has taken its toll on the historical landmark. A Macon organization hopes to bring it back to its former glory, while celebrating Black History Month.
